As it steps to the pond
looks at the fish
watch's them jump
when the bird took it's last step
then flew away
to a land of adventure
flowers and tree's
lake and river's
trust and dream's
magic like a flying bird's

Whimsical I think would be the best way to describe the mood of this poem. Your descriptions and word choices are dreamy and playful.
