Some people say graphic novels are basically comic books...WELL THEY'RE WRONG and I can prove it Very Happy. You see comic books don't have chapters they just go on and on and on when in graphic novels they have chapters, they have a table of contents, they have an about the author the only difference is they have pictures!! for all the pages!! jeez get it right people...sorry had to get that of my chest, anyway comic books have only like 12-14 pages when in graphic novels it can have 18-38 pages or more! so that is why if you see a book that is a graphic novel and you say
"ohhhhh a comic book!"
DONT SAY ITS A COMIC BOOK, THERE IS A SECTION IN THE LIBRARY FOR GRAPHIC NOVELS FOR A REASON!!!

sorry about all the caps I just get mad when people call graphic novels comic books and I have a lot of anger over it cause I love graphic novels!!I love you I love you

I agree Keifer, graphic novels have a lot of value, and many of them have powerful stories. Do you have any suggestions for our classroom library?
